Sadly, the current stance on "illegals", by the "temporary" gumment, does not sit well with the majority of the population. Boatloads keep arriving (mainly from Indonesia) and detention centres off shore are full to overflowing. Ex service bases around the country are being prepared to house these "queue jumpers" and an entire army of lawyers are readily available to protect them from any attempt to repatriate.
Naturally these illegals know well the ways to appease the gumment and to get their ticket to a free loaders way of life. We are about 5-10 years behind UK and Europe in the "open doors" policy and although it won't be in my lifetime, Australia will one day have similar riots to those just experienced in England.
I think it has been proved time and again in many different countries that *multiculturalism* has failed miserably. At least Pat Condell doesn't care a fig about PC sensitivities.
When he gets deported......send him to Australia to join all the other convicts !!

I agree, we do too much pussy footing about to appease the politically correct brigade. I agreee with the stance Oz sets on immigration - integrate or go back. We could transfer repatriation costs with money saved from social security payments and be quids in. Little hope of that though. Mike

Pat Condell certainly thumbs his nose at the *Politically Correct* brigade and iterates what the majority of the Western world believes but are scared to say for fear of accusations of racism.
